Convert First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) statements to Excel
FAB descriptions carry long reference numbers that wrap, and generic converters split them into extra rows or spill them into the Debit column. Customers with pre-merger NBAD or FGB statements also find that a single template fails on the older layout.
- ✓ Running balance checked on every page
- ✓ Arabic, English and bilingual statements
- ✓ Files deleted within 24 hours, never used for training

About First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) statement PDFs
- FAB statements are downloaded as PDF from FAB Online Banking and the FAB mobile app, and monthly e-statements are emailed as PDFs.
- Account statements are in English and show Date, Value Date, Description, Debit, Credit and Balance, so a running balance is present on each line.
- Dates are in DD/MM/YYYY or DD MMM YYYY format, and descriptions include POS, ATM, transfers, WPS salary and charges with merchant or counterparty details and reference numbers.
- Amounts are in AED with two decimals; foreign-currency accounts are issued as separate statements.
- Statements issued before the merger under the NBAD or FGB names use similar but not identical layouts.

Frequently asked
Do older NBAD and FGB statements convert too?
Yes. The layout is detected from each document, so older and newer statements convert consistently with the same balance check.
Is the running balance checked?
Yes. Every page is checked against the printed Balance column, and any mismatch is flagged before download.
Does it work on scanned statements?
Yes. OCR handles scans and photos, and misread digits are caught by the balance check.
