Convert Chase statements to Excel
Chase packs several accounts and sections into one PDF, so generic converters mix the summary totals, the daily balance table and the transaction rows into a single column soup. The missing year on transaction dates and the negative-sign convention also break month boundaries and sign logic in spreadsheets.
- ✓ Running balance checked on every page
- ✓ Arabic, English and bilingual statements
- ✓ Files deleted within 24 hours, never used for training
About Chase statement PDFs
- Chase statements are downloaded as PDF from chase.com or the mobile app under Statements & documents, usually one PDF per account per month.
- Checking and savings statements open with a summary block (Beginning Balance, Deposits and Additions, Electronic Withdrawals, Fees, Ending Balance) followed by a Transaction Detail table with DATE, DESCRIPTION, AMOUNT and BALANCE columns.
- Dates are printed in US order (MM/DD) without the year on most lines; debits appear as negative amounts in a single AMOUNT column.
- Chase credit card statements use a different layout: Payments and Other Credits, then Purchases, with Date of Transaction, Merchant Name and $ Amount, and no running balance.
- Online banking offers CSV, QFX and QBO downloads of recent activity, but older periods are often only available as the archived PDF statement.

- Download. Every row balance-checked. Excel, CSV, QuickBooks (QBO), Xero, OFX. Edit anything first.
Frequently asked
Does Kashf handle both Chase checking and Chase credit card PDFs?
Yes. Checking statements are converted with their running balance, and the balance is checked on every page. Credit card statements have no running balance, so Kashf checks the page totals against the statement summary instead.
Chase dates have no year. How does the export know which year a transaction belongs to?
Kashf reads the statement period from the header and assigns the correct year to every line, including statements that span December and January.
Which export should I use for QuickBooks?
Use the QBO export for QuickBooks Desktop or Online bank feeds, or CSV if you prefer the manual import mapping. OFX is available for other accounting tools.
