Convert TD Canada Trust statements to Excel
The JAN15-style date without spaces or a year is read as text by spreadsheets and cannot be sorted or filtered, and statements spanning a year change get the wrong year entirely. Rows with an empty Withdrawals or Deposits cell also shift amounts into the wrong column in generic conversions.

About TD Canada Trust statement PDFs
- TD Canada Trust statements are downloaded as PDF from EasyWeb under Statements & Documents, with a multi-year archive.
- Chequing statements show Date, Description, Withdrawals, Deposits and Balance columns, with a running balance on each line.
- Dates are printed as an abbreviated month and day with no year (for example JAN15), and the year must be taken from the statement period.
- Descriptions are short uppercase codes and names, such as SEND E-TFR, TD VISA PREAUTH PYMT, POS PURCHASE or MONTHLY PLAN FEE.
- EasyWeb also offers transaction downloads in CSV, OFX, QFX and QBO for recent periods.

Frequently asked
How does Kashf handle TD dates like JAN15 with no year?
The statement period from the header supplies the year, and every row is exported as a real date value, including statements that cross from December into January.
Is the running balance checked?
Yes. Each page's withdrawals and deposits are checked against the printed Balance column, so a value that landed in the wrong column is flagged immediately.
Can I convert TD credit card statements too?
Yes. Card statements have no running balance, so Kashf checks page totals against the statement summary instead.
